Yankees at Orioles, 10 May 2009: A Liveblog

1.43 PM: Have a massive, massive migraine. Will do the best I can.

Solo HR there for Teixeira, and thus Joba has a lead.

1.44 PM: HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

1.58 PM: Three run home run for the Orioles there. Joba's thumb looks like its bothering him, but Girardi doesn't seem to want to admit it.

2.16 PM: Nothing doing there. Canó has a one out double, but Melky grounds out and Cervelli pops out.

2.23 PM: What is it with Joba and the first inning?

2.46 PM: Joba struggled with his command there but was able to get a GIDP to end the inning.

3.18 PM: Ugh. Just ugh. It's the @$#@$ Orioles.

3.50 PM: Robbie Canó just hit a solo HR and it's now 3-2 Orioles.

3.54 PM: Cervelli playing that game right; his hustle makes him safe at first. I wasn't aware catchers could run.

3.59 PM: If you're going to extend a hitting streak, do it right. Like a three-run home run on a 3-2 count with two outs in the seventh to put your team up, 5-3.

4.11 PM: Phil Coke may be the one reliable pitcher in the Yankees' bullpen till Bruney gets back. Even Mo has had his share of struggles.

4.22 PM: Girardi may not have faith in anyone other than Coke, but the faith in Coke is not misplaced.
